Dawn Hanna
Ms Hanna was born in Nassau, Bahamas. She was trained at the East-15 Method acting school (Essex England), majoring in Drama but also explored many aspects of the performing arts, including Music and Dance.
She has lived and worked in England for eight years during which time she earned a membership in the British Actors Equity union.
Although she has been classically trained in Classical and modern theatre, Ms Hanna's endeavors have led her to an exploration of the richness and diversity of the folk arts. She also uses the healing potential of her training and background in her more recent work with Special Needs children.
She enjoys exercising her abilities in the expression of all the Art forms, including Music, Dance, Drama and the Visual Arts.
She also gained membership to the Canadian Actor's equity Union during her stay in Canada. From 1998-2001 she studied at the University of Ottawa where she majored in a double B.A. in English Literature and the Visual Arts. She is currently on hiatus. She now enjoys painting art items on Wood's Roger;'s Wharf, Nassau, Bahamas.
